On 26 September 2026, Palm and terraPOD marked 60 years by funding an Impact Day at The Heal Kitchen in Durban. Big Five Foods one-pot meals moved through partners into real hands.

On Saturday, 26 September 2026, Palm and terraPOD marked 60 years of family manufacturing the right way — not with a banquet for themselves, but with a fully funded terraPOD Impact Day at The Heal Kitchen @HumanGIG in Durban.
They did not ask KwaZulu-Natal to pay for the celebration of Palm. They funded the community instead.
The food that moved
Big Five Foods is honoured that our fortified one-pot meals were the food that moved through partner organisations and into real hands. The meals are complete and locally sourced, ready in about 20 minutes, with 20 plates from every 1 kg pack.
